WhozFree is a simple way to share whether you are available for calls and messages. We collect the minimum information needed to make that work reliably, send optional push notifications, and improve stability. We do not sell your data. The app may show ads.

Information we collect

• Your phone number to identify your account and link your availability updates.
• Selected contacts’ phone numbers that you choose to include, so we can compute and deliver your availability to those recipients. We do not collect names or other address book fields.
• Push notification token and basic device metadata (platform, locale, timezone, app version) to send you notifications and maintain delivery reliability.
• App logs and crash reports (non-sensitive diagnostics) to keep the app stable. We use Axiom for structured logs and Sentry for crash/error reporting.
• Advertising identifiers (e.g., IDFA/AAID where available) and related device signals if ads are shown, to deliver and measure ads. You can restrict personalized ads in your device settings.

How we use information

• Provide the core service: resolve and share your availability to the contacts you indicate.
• Send optional push notifications according to your preferences.
• Maintain and improve reliability, debug issues, and protect the service from abuse.
• Show and measure ads where enabled.

What we do not do

• No sale of personal data.
• No cookies on this site, and the mobile app does not use web cookies.

Data sharing

We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate the app, such as push notification providers (Apple/Google/Expo), error reporting (Sentry), and logging/metrics (Axiom). If ads are shown, we also work with ad partners (such as Google AdMob) that process device identifiers and signals to deliver and measure ads subject to their policies. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their services for us and are bound by appropriate obligations.

Retention

We keep contact mappings, preferences, and device registrations while you use the app. If you unregister a device, we disable that token. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Your choices

• Control notification settings in the app, including per-contact notification levels.
• Remove contacts you previously shared with. Update or stop sharing at any time.
• Manage personalized ads in your device settings (IDFA/AAID controls) where available.
• Request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.

Children

WhozFree is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Depending on your location and our providers, your information may be processed in other countries. We take steps to protect it consistent with this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here and may be communicated in the app. Your continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
